"Billed" Your Career
I provide the education, training and support you need to build a successful career in medical billing.
Why Medical Billing is The Move
Medical Billing, the process of translating a medical service into a billing claim, is a career that is extremely profitable, easy to master (you don't even need a college degree!) and can be done right from the comfort of your home. Want to learn medical billing and how you can grow a 6-figure home based business?
Ask me how!
Hi! I'm Quiana Craig, Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Licensed AAPC Approved Instructor and owner of a New York home-based medical billing business that I started in 2008.
In 2006 while managing a medical office, an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself. I transitioned into managing the revenue cycle, with no prior billing experience.
Working from home became very important to me when my husband and I decided to start our family. I wanted to be home and present for all of the special moments but also needed to continue to earn a great income. This is when I decided to pursue my medical billing business full-time.
Medical Billing from home has provided me with a lifestyle I had no idea could be a reality. It provides freedom, flexibility and has been very profitable.
Now, I teach others this 6-figure skill set that doesn't require healthcare experience or a college degree through my signature Biller BOSS Bootcamp®
course, where I teach my students:
→the various stages of the revenue cycle
→the day to day duties of a medical biller
→billing software so you are industry ready
→how to pass the AAPC billing certification exam
→the steps to “billed” a profitable home-based business
→how to efficiently market your business to get provider clients
Ask The Biller® provides education, training and support for those who want to jumpstart their medical billing career or take their existing career to the next level by turning the skill set into a profitable home-based business.
"Taking the Biller Bootcamp course was the confidence boost I needed. The presentations are clear, informative and like a pot of gold, especially for beginners and current billers. Your time and passion in sharing your knowledge is appreciated"
When can I start the training course? When can I start the AAPC certification prep course?Anytime! Both courses are pre-recorded and self-paced. Open enrollment allows you to pick your start date. Live Q&A classes are held every Wednesday at 8 pm EST via Zoom. If you cannot attend live, every class is recorded so you can watch the replay when it's convenient for you.
Can anyone learn medical billing?Yes! Even high school graduates who decide not to go to college and want to learn a skill to start earning money in weeks versus years.
Is prior healthcare experience required? No! All you need is a desire to learn and a good work ethic! After successfully completing the training course, you will be ready to apply for entry level billing opportunities.
Is a college degree a requirement to be hired? No! A high school diploma, or equivalent, is sufficient.
Is certification required for medical billing? No! Certification is optional. However, it is highly recommended for individuals who want a formal education. Certification holds more weight than a college degree in this industry for non-managerial positions.
Can I start with training first and decide if I want to get certified later?Yes! If you decide to upgrade to Biller BOSS Bootcamp® for AAPC certification, you will only pay the difference between the bootcamp fee and the training course fee, as long as you upgrade within 1 year*.
Are advanced math skills required? No! Basic math skills are what you need. This includes: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages.
What type of equipment is needed?A computer (desktop or laptop) and a phone. You will also need secure high-speed internet access.
Are there any prerequisites required for medical billing? No! Prerequisites such as anatomy & physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology & pathophysiology are required for medical coders, not billers.
Will I have to learn coding too?No! Coding is a different skill set. Coding involves reading documentation and translating the services and diagnoses into codes. This is not a biller's role and the codes will be provided for you.
